All cleaners are interviewed in person, and we carry out thorough checks including verification of identity, right to work in the UK, proof of address, and references. Each cleaner must also pass a practical skills test and complete an induction supervised by one of our team members.
While we don’t offer standalone one-off sessions for standard domestic cleaning, your first cleaning session acts as a trial. We will ask for your feedback after the first visit. If you are not satisfied for any reason, please share your feedback with us and we will assign a different cleaner whose skills are better matched to your requirements.
Yes. Our regular domestic cleaners use public transport and are unable to carry equipment. We therefore ask clients to provide cleaning tools (such as a vacuum, mop, and bucket) and materials.
If you're unhappy with your assigned cleaner for any reason, please let us know and we will provide a more suitable replacement. To cancel your regular cleaning arrangement, we require one month's notice.
We currently do not offer the option to pay the full amount to the company. To keep administrative costs low and provide better compensation to our cleaners, payments are made directly to the cleaner after each session. This arrangement ensures they receive immediate payment, which is greatly appreciated.
We are happy to tailor the cleaning checklist to your specific instructions. Typically, our standard domestic service includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping down all surfaces, and emptying rubbish bins. If you’d like to include additional tasks such as ironing, laundry, bed changing and making, or focus on a particular area of the home, please let us know. While it may feel like a maid service, we're here to help with what your home needs — even if that means an extra hand with errands.
It’s helpful if you can be at home for the first session to show the cleaner around, explain your preferences, and point out where you keep your cleaning materials. For future sessions, it’s completely up to you — many clients choose to provide keys, while others prefer to be at home. If you stay during the cleaning, we kindly ask that you avoid following the cleaner around and maintain respectful distance while they work.
If you're going on holiday and will be missing a few cleaning sessions, please let us know in advance and we’ll inform your cleaner. If your cleaner is unwell or on holiday, we will offer a replacement cleaner. If you prefer not to have a replacement, we can issue a refund for the missed session upon your request.
Yes, absolutely. If you need an invoice, please let us know and we will provide a monthly invoice for the agency fee portion. We can also ask your cleaner to provide an invoice for the wages they receive from you. Our cleaners are self-employed and use invoice books. They are responsible for filing their own tax returns and paying their taxes.
